Start from Januari 9th 2012 'till now, I join the Development Learning Program for DEL Foundation. Thanks to my lecturer, senior at WTA who recommend me to join this program. I have no idea to be a teacher. But now i'm trying about how to be a good teacher and learner. First week, I really excited with Mr. Bill Alen's classes. He's the master of Pedagogy and Curriculum, come from Sunshine Coast of Australia.
Wow... He teach us with his simple way.
He teach us with his earnestness, full of motivation, explain the material inductively from simple to complex, really care to everyone, and of course he's a good man. He encourage us to be confident and developing our knowledge, but he keep the class relax with no push. I can understand what is learning, teaching, pedagogy, supportive classroom, bad & good teacher because there's no bad & good students. I've learned more than the material he explained. I've learned the values of life, and the lucky last : THE POWERFUL OF TEAMWORK.
Unforgettable moment, outstanding lesson, precious teaching, great togetherness and the last one... I'll never ever have the best teacher like him. He's too wonderful for us!
Thank You Mr. Bill for your time, we'd make you tired, right. But most of us feels satisfy. You're doing very good. Now, there's no Mr. Bill's class anymore. But don't worry, we keep your words in our heart and class activities. Supportive Classroom, Rule number 2, Teamwork is better than working solo or competition, prior knowledge, developing it not transfer knowledge, assesment, and so on.
Finally... Thanks for all. You're succeed doing good teaching because our learning is taking place :)
